  6. Hi Alexandra, thanks for stopping by! I actually didn’t pick up Persian much. I did a language course in Rome but forgot most of it. I always have the plan to study it again but I hardly find the time. But it’s worth it, you will hugely need it in Afghanistan. Let me know if you need any tip for a smoother trip!

  7. Hey Hans, yes security-wise is still like this, which is not safe at all, especially for foreign tourists. There were clashes in Mazar-e Sharif recently but now situation is back to normal. For tours and prices we can give you the name of a tour company we know. Let me know if you are interested.

  9. I think there is a good shop in Nuoro, piazza Vittorio Emanuele. In the province you can also visit Orgosolo where they do wonderful jobs with the silk.

  11. Hi Sebastian, as far as I remember there is more than one entrance, so it depends on where you are based. Ask your hotel for the nearest entrance and also the route to take.
