Homemade Iranian breakfast in Lahidjan, Gilan province

In Lahidjan, beautiful town in northern Iran’s Gilan province, lapped by the Caspian Sea on one side and framed by an evergreen forest on the other, I was a guest of Dream of Iran‘s editor, Madi, and her lovely family. Her mom, in a very authentic Iranian style, showed the best of the country’s sense of hospitality preparing by far the best meals we had had so far on the road, starting right from a typical homemade Iranian breakfast. For now, I’ll let you drool a little with these tantalizing images, in the wait for the big fare, a whole lunch, in my next post.

  1. I love breakfasts where you pick at lots of little things all together. Actually, I love lunches like that, and dinners too!

Love just how fresh everything looks.
